Fran Bearing Co was founded in 1986 to support a local start-up compressor service company with remanufactured oil film bearings for Ingersoll-Rand, Centac, centrifugal air compressors.

Located in Mayfield, Kentucky, once billed as "World Headquarters" of one of the world's best centrifugal air compressor makers, this area is rich with experienced motivated talent.

Our company has had the good fortune of partnering with many of these fine people to bring unparalleled experience and service to the aftermarket manufacturing of components for centrifugal air compressors.

A new generation of skilled machinists, technicians, and engineers are stepping up to meet the challenges of keeping vital compressors at top performance.

Estimates are that more people work in the compressor industry locally now than when the OEM was located here.
